Well, we´re back in the Ioanians, and with another six weeks before we have to think about landing up for the winter, we had to decide where to go. It wasn't much of a decision: south and away from the crowdedness of the Ionian islands.
This is one of the best times of the year to sail Greece; the charter holidays are coming to an end, summer sailors are heading for the their winter marinas before the flights back home come to an end, which just leaves a few liveaBoards who are in no rush to make their way to their winter stops. This leaves the harbours and anchorages almost empty. Just the way we like them!
The evenings are much cooler now and the days are not so sweating hot. It’s just like a nice British summer day.
